I used these connectors to make some new cables for a JTS JS1-Tube mic, as the cable supplied was with non-Neutrik connectors so they weren't as reliable and I wouldn't expect them to last.

They are a little fiddlier to solder than the 3-pins, but I recommend you start with the centre pin (7) first, and then you should be fine. Don't leave it until last, as trying to solder it once surrounded is nearly impossible.
