Das Neumann-Mikrofon BCM 104 übertrifft meine Erwartungen, da ich es ausschließlich für Vokals nutze, z.B. Radiobeiträge / Moderationen. Mit dem Babyface von RME eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. Sprachliche Feinheiten werden ausgezeichnet abgebildet.
Eine wirklich runde Sache.
Einzig die bescheidene Verpackung des Neumann-Mikros hat überrascht. Wie dem auch sei, man glänzt eben mit inneren Werten.

Such an amazing sound, crisp, sharp, full, rich and all other words you want to use for it.
ALL other mics i have bought are now in my BIG storage bag and are only brought out when i show and compare mics.

OK. 1 thing is bad. And its a very BIG BAD:
You can not adjust the angle of the mic, you MUST have on a boomarm with swivel head och stand that has a swivel head.
This is actually a very big deal, i absolutely hate to have to get adapters, and accessories just to use this mic like my other ones. and since this the only one i need to attach a n adapter to, its really irritating.
BUT, the sound....
You can never go wrong with this.
Just keep in mind, this Neumann BCM104 will pickup everything.
So you need to treat your space to get the best out of this.
Buy it, Use it... LOVE it :)

Un micro chaud et très "vocal"

Souhaitant renouer avec la pratique et l'enregistrement de voix off, j'ai décidé de sauter le pas (et l'investissement) vers un micro de marque dédiée. Après de multiples recherches et de consultations sur le net, qui propose également de nombreux tests sur différents modèles de micros de la même marque (et mettant fixé une limite de prix aussi!), mon choix s'est porté sur le Neumann BCM 104. Je ne suis pas du tout déçu ! Quelle claque qualitative !!! Une vrai joie retrouvée d'enregistrer de nouveau avec ce modèle. Disposant de son propre filtre anti-pop à l'intérieur de la grille, au début je m'enregistrais avec un filtre externe... puis finalement petit à petit, l'ayant peu à peu "apprivoisé" je l'utilise sans. On y gagne dans la captation d'un meilleur "timbre", d'une meilleure "matière", d'une meilleure "empreinte". Relié au boitier Palmer PAN 48, lui-même raccordé à l'entrée micro (d'un PC) d'une carte son Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Rx, ce n'est que du bonheur. Je ne peux que le recommander à tout amateur !)

In realtà basterebbe il titolo per riassumere tutto quello che sto per scrivere, ma altrimenti non sarebbe una recensione quindi scendiamo un po' nel dettaglio.
Nel mio studio vengono soprattutto ragazzi che fanno rap/hip-hop e capita molto spesso che il timbro di voce che più gli piace per la canzone da registrare lo ottengano solo rappando a volume parecchio basso. Ho un ottimo preamplificatore (Focusrite Red 1 500; senza andare troppo off-topic, comunque, consiglio vivamente pure quello, va d'accordo praticamente con qualunque microfono!) e quindi anche con gli altri microfoni che possedevo già i risultati di questo genere di incisione non erano affatto male, ma serviva una marcia in più. Così, appena ho saputo dell'esistenza di un microfono di fascia così alta studiato per il broadcasting (quindi costruito con una capsula molto molto sensibile) non ho saputo resistere e, appena sentita la resa nella radio Beats One di Dr Dre, l'ho comprato ad occhi chiusi.
Ora, se cercate di tirarci fuori un suono caldo come quello che sentite in quella trasmissione vi occorrerà sicuramente un pre valvolare o, comunque, dai toni abbastanza caldi, ma io, personalmente, lo preferisco quasi così: sono riuscito a mettere su un set-up così preciso che..... Non so neanche come finire la frase ma penso che il mio grado d'entusiasmo dica già tutto.
