I wanted these for some cheap little high-frequency in-fills overhead in the room, mostly as an effect. We're putting a lot of wattage through them and filtering HP at about 4k and they're coping fine. They're quite sharp at the mid frequency range (near to the bottom end of their stated range) so we'll probably need to EQ these a good bit more to take a bit of the ear-splitting harshness out. They're very directional as you might imagine, so if you want to use these you'll need to be mindful of your positioning.
The datasheets are very limited on these but I don't think that this is too surprising at this price.
The packaging was interesting: these speakers come in a little plastic bag with no documentation. But again, at this price, you can't complain about that.
The form-factor is quite rugged and I don't think that they could be physically damaged too easily which is nice.
Overall I would - and probably will - buy these again for the same purpose: as an in-fill for high frequency. They're very small and light and neat and tidy and can be hidden away without too much effort and mounted easily too.

used these tweeters as a replacement for an old hi-fi 3 way speakers that had been blow out by a friend of mine using a too powerful amp. The tweeter matched technical specs of the ones used before and the crossover so now they are resurrected for a second life. I also ordered a few other components for my other diy projects took the express delivery so got everything pretty quickly even though I'm resided in Iceland .Everything came well packed and intact...I'm happy and would recommend using 'Thomann' for you projects.

Eine Lanze für den Piezo
Martin866 20.10.2009
