I know this is a very cheap product and I shouldn't really complain - it's not too terrible for the price but still it is fairly bad. The seat itself is sort of weird and does this air-release compression when you sit on it, I guess that is functional but it feels rather strange when getting up and down. I have it tightened up properly but still the stool loosens very quickly and easily as the engineering and components are just lacking.
If you really can't afford better then don't feel too bad as this is comfortable and even if it takes a bit of extra fiddling, it works just fine. If you can afford an extra €20-30 then I would say go for something better if you plan to be at your kit a lot - it is a worthy area of investment!

What a horrible stool.
Darmil 04.09.2024
Thomann bundles this thing with their actually very decent for the price drums however with half a euro extra maybe in materials and shipping costs the foam could carry a person weighing more than 20kg. As it is it just deflates and fills when you sit and get up and just slow enough to be a major annoyance every time you sit or get up. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
The body itself is somewhat stable when properly tightened but I wouldn't trust it with anyone of adult weight.

It's sturdy but the cushion is awful.
Nomijah 17.08.2023
The stand is stable and feels sturdy but the cushion is not comfortable. When sitting on it, all air pours out and it's like sitting on a wooden plate with fabric on. It also gets warm quite quickly. But since I don't use it that often I'm okay with it, but don't buy this if you play a lot of drums, you will regret it.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Bastian93 13.01.2024

Affordability does not come for free
Rookie Drummer 28.03.2024
Agree with other reviews, the padding is too soft and after the air comes out you'll end up sitting on a hard surface. The stability is not good either. This was a cheap stool so those doesn't really bother me that much. The only thing making me regret the purchase is the limited height adjustment, at the highest point it's still too low for me to play conveniently. Surely the height is in the description, but I didn't realize it's so much lower than competitors. Perhaps this should be labeled as a junior stool.

Pour un enfant léger

Le siège est solide, bien fini su l'armature mais le l'assise est hyper basse et la mousse est d'une médiocrité... on s'assied dessus ça fait pfffffff et on atterrit sur le plancher (du siège).
Et ouais

Not comfortable if you are an adult
LioB 12.11.2021
I would not recommand this throne. It could work for kids but it's not comfortable at all.
You just sit on a small piece of wood.
I just replace it with the Gibraltar 9608E and I enjoy much more playing the drums now. I would advice you to keep your money and buy a better one.

Not the best for tall drummers
Daniel Nagy 04.10.2022
Got this throne with my kit bundle, but I'm 203cm tall and it's a bit small for me.
The threaded high adjustment comes lose very easily (literally in 20-30 seconds) and gets very wobbly. Probably because I had to pull it up quite high, but otherwise it would be too low for me, however I didn't really try on lower seat positions for obvious reasons.
If you're tall you should probably avoid it.

Wobbly; Then it snapped.
SEGFAULT 25.11.2024
Disclaimer: I was using this to sit at a desk, I am not a drummer.
The grub screw on my stool wouldn't stay tightened, this meant that the seat always rocked left to right on the post, which was very uncomfortable. It was also impossible to make the seat not spin.
The rated capacity is 150KG according the the sales page. My partner is ~110KG, but still managed to snap the board supporting the seat clean in 2 near the middle by shifting her weight on it slightly, while looking at a computer screen.
This has no chance of holding up against a heavier drummer. Don't buy.

Puffy stool that won't stop rotating, gyrating even !!
SquishFrog 28.03.2024
I gave this a try on various possible configurations (i.e. drum kit, e-drum, practice pad), and it ended being relegated to the practice pad function. You can have this lower than usual and get away with it, like practicing on a pad, it's good for that; for drums I'd rather have something sturdier that doesn't move around as much.
