Malgré une utilisation assez peu intensive le cable casse assez rapidement. J'avais déjà cassé rapidement celui fourni avec la pédale. A 20 € le cable, ce modèle de pédale va revenir très cher. Sachant qu'il est préférable d'en avoir un de rechange car certains cassent au bout d'une ou 2 heures de jeu, il faut donc compter presque 40 € à chaque achat. J'ai heureusement accès à une pédale e secours sans cable pour étaler les changements de cables, mais je vais surement me séparer de la Meinl.

È il punto debole del pedale per cajon Meinl TMCP. L'estremità tende a saltare via perché probabilmente non riesce a sopportare la forza che imprimiamo al pedale quando suoniamo. Un vero peccato perché l'idea di base è ottima. Il pedale che comanda in remoto il battente può essere posizionato ovunque dando massima flessibilità ed eleganza alla nostra configurazione. Si può montare facilmente in caso di rottura per ricollegare pedale e battente, ma costruttivamente c'è un problema perché dopo un po' il cavo tende a sfilacciarsi all'estremità e si spezza facendo saltare il terminale. A me personalmente il terminale è rimasto incastrato nella sede del pedale e ho dovuto lavorarci molto per sbloccarlo. Sono molto deluso da questo prodotto Meinl e alla fine ho optato per l'acquisto di un altro pedale con meccanica diretta.
