somehow I feel meinl have missed the point with the cowbell sound. Perhaps I shouldn't compare it against my LP ES4 salsa bell (which sounds short and dry) but the Meinl rings like a church bell with sustaining overtone and doesn't seem to fit in well. I've abraded it all over and I'm probably going to let it go rusty - to see if it helps. I don't like the side welds - the beads sit on top of the surface. I'm sure they are well penetrated, but looks like the weld process could be improved

Produit acheté à l'occasion de l'anniversaire du bongocero de mon groupe de salsa.
Le son est parfait, en particulier, la "boca" qui est bien grave.
Cette cloche est assez légère. Ce qui est bien pour les longues sessions de jeu.
Le son se marie parfaitement bien avec les cloches timbales de Meinl. Les harmoniques sont bien présentes et très musicales.
La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous. Surtout le verni qui permet de bien protéger contre la rouille. Il y a aussi du verni (noir) à l'intérieur.
Pour moi, Meinl fabrique les meilleurs cloches du marché.
