I bought this as the bottom cymbal for a mini hi-hat, which it does very well, with an old 8" (Paiste Alpha) splash on top.
As a bell it seems to perform well too. The heaviness I wanted for the hi hat gives a clear tone with good sustain. I'm not too sure about its musical application, as I don't use a bell in my set-up, but the note is certainly clear, unsullied and it can be played quite loudly with no loss of tone.
The usual high quality finish from Meinl, even though this is from one of the more affordable ranges.

Not much to say here. Use this when you need to insert a tiny bell sound in between whatever that you are playing. Works great in combination with splash cymbal sounds. Quality is very good from what I can judge, this looks like it will last for a while.

Jag köpte den som en sorts effekt-splash, och som en komplement till min ride-bell, för att använda i fills och accenter. Bellen levererar vad jag förväntade mig av den, en klar och snygg klang som verkligen tränger igenom. För priset, och överlag, så fyller den sin roll väl.
Den är dock svår att använda i många sammanhang, passar sällan in i varken pop-, rock- eller jazzmusik i min erfarenhet. Däremot kan den vara ett bra tillskott för den som vill experimentera med ovanliga sound, eller helt enkelt tycker att ride-bell-accenten kunde vara lite fetare i metal-breakdownet.
För att summera, bra ljud, bra pris, lite svåranvänd, men helt klart värt det om det är ljudet du letar efter.
