Excellent budget splash

I needed a splash for my kit to broaden the sound of the cymbals and this one was the ideal one for me.

The price is very comptetitive, the sound is clearly good enough and it looks cool.

Of course, if you want the best poosible sound and quality, you can spend a lot more and hear the difference.

For me it was a good compromise between money and performance. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

In my 'splash' taste (which is described somewhat accurate by the Paiste 12" PSTX DJs 45 Crash, also available here) this sounds too tinny and has too much sustain for a splash.

However, for my purpose (giving a Millenium Still series 13" hihat top some more sizzle and body) this thing works great. It also looks great and cost me almost nothing.

Don't know if this review is useful for the average square drummer, but if you like to fine tune and fiddle w/your kit, this is definitely an extra option you could find some use for.

This splash is very musical, it cuts through and it’s fast. I use it mainly for rock music and i really like how it blends with the other cymbals

Very unique sound

Cymbal looks awesome, and sound very unique.
As I understand, this series of cymbals is "machine made" (not hand made/ hammered); so should be very consistent, from cymbal to cymbal.
The is short and "tinny", but in a present way; not a cheap way. Definitely adds character and dimension to the mix, and would be a contrast to most cymbals (outside this range).
At the price, highly recommended.
