I bought two of these clamps along with two Mapex B60EB cymbal boom arms. One set is attached to another cymbal stand - the other is attached to the tom holder on my kick drum.
- The one attached to the cymbal stand seems to stay very well in place.
- The one attached to the tom holder rocks my splash cymbals back and forth every time I hit my kick drum. Still not sure whether it is the clamp or the boom arm that's responsible - but it's not that big of an issue.

Careful when attaching to other black hardware, as the paint can be scraped off.
