I use this to mount my DSLR on to windows in my car while doing "thrilling" driving scenes - haha. Actually the most thrilling part of it is making sure the suction doesnt fall below a certain level. If you can do that while driving, you'll manage to keep your camera from falling to the seat or whatever below. Hopefully too you'll avoid any accidents.
Anyway, I have several Manfrotto tripods for a range of situations and also for a range of cameras (both dslr and dedicated moviecams) and I love them all. Clever, reliable, and extremely hardy. My oldest pod is more than 40 years old and its still in pretty good shape considering the minimal maintenance it gets. Used it in all sorts of shoots including beaches and rocky foreshores.

A Solid Suction mount
Samuel Ridge London Ltd. 15.05.2022
This thing sucks! And really well. I use them as a three set and they are rock solid, far more reliable than magnet version.
The clamp itself is solid, and locks tightly. Pretty simple to use and release.
TOP TIP.
* When in transport, position the 5/8 mount over the pump (as pictured) to prevent the pump from being damaged. This is the only vulnerable part.
* Use on a clean wet surface for maximum performance.
* Always use ratchet straps when mounting any camera rig to cars.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Bon produit, c'est du solide. Malheureusement au bout d'un certain nombre d'années il faut changer la ventouse car le caoutchouc devient légèrement poreux.
