Awesome piece to open up your imagination

I received the 0-coast 2 days ago and now I got stuck in my room with it. Amazing sound, I am a fan of sound design, making minimal techno, the 0-coast combined with MIDI in from a DAW, some randomizer plugins, arps, sequencer it just makes this instrument as powerful as you need. I don't have other modular gear but I don't think I even need more. The sound is great and vast, different from conventional gear. The layout is alright and easy to learn, I basically learn it from all the tutorials before to have it delivered. I can't complain about it, it feels sturdy, I keep it on the desktop anyway. Now I closed all the gaps in a compact but powerful setup. 100% recommended.

P
Compact, versatile synth with a lot of character
Pieter3d 12.06.2018
The sound pallet is much wider than you'd expect from its size. While it's very different from traditional subtractive synths, the 0-Coast is easy to use and rewards sonic exploration.
Midi implementation is excellent, although you really need the manual/a cheat-sheet (which is on the back of the unit, as well as on their website) to navigate through the program pages to set everything up the way you want it.

Build and sound quality are about as good as it gets.
To get the most out of it, using it with a midi controller or other modular gear is a good idea. I'm using it with a Beatstep Pro, which works great.
Every time I play with it, it puts a smile on my face.
Can't recommend it enough!

Love it
SammyAwake 14.01.2021
I really love this synth - beautiful sound, hugely versatile, endlessly surprising. It's my main synth now for composition and sound design, as it's perfect for drones and textured noise as well as softer, prettier, more melodic work.

Little Big Synth

0-Coast is a good Studio companion. It produces an impressive range of tones, I particularly like it for rich and aggressive leads, squelchy fm and plucky sounds thanks to its snappy contour shape.

It can be tricky to use if you’re new to synthesizers, MIDI programming is not intuitive at all but manual explanation is clear and complete.

I use it mostly patched with other modules where it can become a MIDI interface, lfo/function generator, envelope generator, low pass gate and audio rate modulator.

A great set of features that makes Make Noise 0-Coast a perfect first step into the modular world and a great tool in your modular synthesizer!
