Ludwig Centennial Zep Set LRC26ZX-BK

These are like the 450cc, V8, 4 barrel carburetor of drums. They are huge, and they are loud! First off, I ordered these from Thomann because I needed them in black and could not find them in the states. Delivery from this company was unbelievably easy, got them from Germany to Philadelphia in about a week and in perfect condition. Anyway, these drums are surprisingly well made for the price, and look great! I ordered the black ones, which have the appearance of black drums with some of the wood grain visible through the paint (wrap? Not sure), which really looks nice. The stock heads are pretty good, you may not have to rush out to buy different heads if you know how to tune your drums (I bought new ones because I don’t like clear heads and am not great with tuning, also wanted black heads to match the drum color). The bass drum heads are very well made, and you wouldn’t need much as far as dampening if you kept the original sturdy heads. Finally, these drums will take up quite a bit more room, so be mindful of that, they’re staying in my basement, but thinking of all of the small stages I’ve ever played where space is limited, these would not fit on most of them. Did I mention they are LOUD??? If I used these drums in my previous band I would likely not have passed the audition. Love these drums!

La batterie arrive en parfait état.Et deux Tom son montés.
Sinon la batterie en elle même est tres belle. moi en noir transparent elle est sublime et classe.
Le son est comme je le voulais gros gras et résonnant. Rock 70'S en somme. La grosse caisse est top.
Franchement un kit 14 16 18 26... je comprends pourquoi Bonham est tombé amoureux.
Je trouve que la qualité est la. les tirant sont bien simples et font assez années 70. On verra au vieillissement mais au montage je suis content.Je monte toujours à la graisse cuivre par contre et pas à sec.
Voila je suis tres heureux de mon achat.

Habe lange nach einem besonderen Rockset gesucht, und mich nun für das Zep entschieden. Musste mir dann aber die Ausmaße des Sets im Thomann Laden mal anschauen. Und was will man sagen, es ist ein Monsterset! Alles einfach 2 Nummern größer als üblich. Habe mich nach langem hin und her für Transparent Black entschieden. Silver Sparkle war mir dann doch zu sehr "Tanzkapelle". Nach dem Unboxing zuhause hat mich das Schwarz sehr begeistert, da die Holzmaserung leicht durchscheint. Sehr edel! Auf den Bildern schaut das immer nach Klavierlack aus. Das Aufbauen hat Spaß gemacht, da die Verarbeitung hervorragend ist. Ein extrem gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Lediglich für die Bassdrum habe ich mir ein Aquarian Fell mit Dämpfring nachbestellt, was auch im Laden montiert war. Damit habe ich einen wuchtigen bassigen Sound hinbekommen, ohne das Resonanzfell mit einem Loch zu versehen, und Dämpfkissen zu verwenden. Die Toms habe ich mit den üblichen Dämpfringen zum Drauflegen versehen. Alles in allem ein besonderes, sehenswertes Set mit viel Hubraum, dass wirklich Spaß macht!
