P
LP 846-SN Micro snare: 6" can't go wrong!
Paul330 02.07.2013
This Snare is well made, nicely finished and a perfect drum kit add on. It has a sharp militaristic attack, with crisp tones that are great for accents and even for practice work. I've used it on stage, in the studio, at home and even for teaching at school, it is tough and rugged but easy to transport as well.

It has an easy out of the box use and fits well in almost any musical genre, it will require an L rod or Tama style mount/tom mount and like most steel/chrome ware- you will need to watch sweaty fingerprints if you want it nice looking too!
Fairly weighty as it is metal ( but not enough to worry you carrying it about. It tunes up nicely and is really so handy for rudiment articulation or such like. It has a cutting crack which is nice alongside a regular snare setting but nice and sensitive too-just so versatile.

I highly recommend it and love the Thomann sound files for this product as they accurately deliver its' timbre so you can choose between the 6" or 8" versions of the product more easily. Has a nice Timbale like ' snare off' sound, so it's also like getting two drums for the price of one. Get one soon! I love it you probably will too.

It has stood the test of several gigs and performances and several drummer friends have asked about it in the last two days-so it makes a positive impression and adds to your own unique sound- at least in my opinion.

Good, but toy.

They're fun. But realistically you can't hear them. Just too quiet compared to everything else. The mounting is good though - and the at are strainer type device is good. Pull out and twist to turn snares on or off. Fun, but maybe more of a toy than an instrument.

Perfect micro snare

I use this snare on the drum kit and percussion kit and it sounds awesome. Great for trap hip hop, funk, latin and beyond your imagination. Nice and heavy, good volume.
I recommend.

Excellent addition to the drum set

If you want to add middle eastern vibe to your music, then it is pretty good tool to add your sound palette. LP is always of the go to brands for such applications. Definitely recommend it.
