Also, alles gut

Forget about Squier

In short - the guitar has high quality materials and parts, it's made with precision and can definately withstand heavy gigging. The electronics compartment is EMI shielded. The only minus are electronics, more specifically pickups.
So the sound is very dark, like from under a rug, but it's no surprise - mahogany is dark sounding, and potentiometers are 250k. Changing to 500k pots (or even the volume pot only) opens up the sound. With time, you can change the pickups to something better. I did both and the guitar sounds great. It was definately worth it - all components except for electronics are pro quality.
