I was suprised by the sound of this guitar. The 2 Seymour Duncan Humbucker pickups don't scream as much as I thought they would but this to me is not a bad thing. I like the single coil sound of a Fender strat and you kind of get this when you pull the volume knob out (paralleling the 2 coils of the Humbucker pickup - great feature of this guitar). When the coils are in series (volume knob normal) you get a bit more punch. Ive never owned a guitar made entirely out of mapel and I suspect this is the reason the guitar sound suprised me as much as it did. The overall quality of the guitar is good for the price bracket. I have tortured the Floyd Rose and it doesn't go out of tune which is the least I expect but dont always get. Paint job is 80's to the core which gives a fun feel to it when playing. I like this feeling. I like this guitar.

Kramer Pacer - Bengal Tiger Stripe

I expected it to be a pretty good guitar, considering the price and name on the headstock, but was completely blown away by the feel of it. The pickups sound great and coil split is a nice touch too. The neck is one of the few necks chunky enough for my hand to fit around without feeling like I'm holding a twig and the trem system is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of tune. It also looks awesome which for a guitar like this just completes it.
The only issues I had were the frets being slightly rough and the strings it came with not being my choice, but both are easily fixed and it plays better than any of my other guitars.
Overall, great sound, great feel and a great look. Worth the money and more!

I bought this one mainly for the looks, shame on me, but it does not disappoint on any other point. I have another Kramer (and lots of other guitars) and they are really top notch on all fronts. This one feels sturdy, no finish issue at all, the neck smooth and thin enough for my smallish hands. Basically, I love this one, would recommend!
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

One of the best guitars I have ever played.

I've had this guitar for 5 years now, so I've had plenty of time to explore its different possibilities. In terms of playing comfort, the neck is incredible. Round enough to offer a good grip, but still thin enough to fit my small hands, the fingerboard is very flat and suitable for fast playing. The body is ergonomic, nothing to complain about, the Stratocaster shape is really ideal for that. The Floyd Rose is a real floyd, so of excellent quality, and really holds the tuning well. In terms of sound, the guitar is perfect for hard rock and heavy music from the 80s, thanks to the two magnificent Seymour Duncan pickups with a nice distortion, but not only! Thanks to the two push/pull, the coils of the double pickups can switch from a series configuration to a parallel configuration, and thus get closer to the sound of single coils. The woods of the guitar (entirely maple!!) offer a very defined and snappy sound. As you will have understood, it also works wonders in clean. Note: the volume knobs have an option called "Treble bleed" which allows you to keep the treble even when lowering the volume. You like it or not, it offers different sound possibilities. Having opened it, the electronics are very clean, with already shielded cavities. If you are not afraid of the look (personally I had received an Orange/honey burst version without the tiger print, more sober), you will find there a guitar capable of competing with much more expensive models.
