C'est du lourd
François765 15.06.2014

Strong OH stand
borg64 08.10.2017
Stable and built like a tank. Only negative thing is the tripod's footprint, which is quite large when assembled and will potentially require some placement planning when recording in cramped places. During transport, it takes up very little space though.
I do prefer the Latch Lake stands, but they are considerably more expensive, and for mobile recordings the K&M's are so much easier - and lighter - to transport.
I bought the recommended high-duty K&M swivel/boom as well. All in all, a very robust solution for securing heavier condenser or ribbon mics, even in X/Y or ORTF orientation on a single stand.

Steht und wackelt nicht
Grubenhund 20.12.2012
