Surprisingly useful
I bought this by accident thinking it had a 3/8" male thread. Instead of returning it I decided to hold on to it, you never know where it comes in handy.
Now I use it often in combination with my Zoom H2 pocket recorder. It allows me to rotate, tilt, ... the microphone without having to manipulate the boom arm of the mic stand.
Can also be used with (lightweight) camera's.
Cons: It's not sturdy enough for a DSLR camera with a 24-70 f/2.8 lens attached (but that's to be expected)

very happy with it
this is a thoughtful product: allows you to turn a mic stand into a camera / field recorder tripod.
Screws easily on top on any standard mic stand, holds tight, comes already with camera thread on top.
Very good quality which you expect from K&M, solid and reliable.
I use it to make live band recordings, broadcasts, video lessons, with the mic stand taking only a fraction of the footprint that a tripod would take (or none at all, if I put it on a mic boom that's attached to the keyboard stand!)
Nice buy, bit on the expensive side, but the quality build is worth it

Get out of jail free card
I love these little units, they give you a ball and socket camera tripod mounting on top of a microphone stand - they are ideal for show relay cameras, static cameras, and exceptionally useful for the various portable sound recorders (eg Zoom H2 and similar) that come with camera tripod threads on the body. Combine one with the thumb screw off a clip-on drum mic and you can mount a camera on a hook clamp.
Everyone should have at least one in their toolbox, if not two or three.

multipurpose handy tool for webcams and selfiesticks
This little piece of wonders is really helpful with positioning a webcam, selfie stick or other stuff on your mic stand. It built great and very convenient to have one or two with your gear.
