Durable and spacious music desk

The K&M 10065 features a generously sized music desk measuring 48.5cm in width and 24cm in height, offering ample space for sheet music, notebooks, or standard A4 formats. Its 4.2cm-deep shelf accommodates thicker volumes securely, while the foldable, toothed swivel joint allows the desk to be adjusted to various angles for optimum visibility. Adjustments are made via knurled screws that lock easily without requiring excessive force. About K&M

Founded in 1949, König & Meyer (K&M) initially produced music stands and measuring tools. Just two years later, the product range was expanded to include instrument stands and microphone stands, which remain the core business of the Wertheim-based manufacturer to this day. Additionally, K&M produces speaker and lighting stands, monitor stands, stools, tablet holders, and other accessories for mobile devices. To meet high-quality standards, metal and plastic components have always been predominantly manufactured in-house in Germany, with a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly production processes and sustainability.

Practical and reliable in any setting

Designed for portability and ease of use, the K&M 10065 folds down to a compact length of 49cm and weighs just 1.55kg. Setting up the stand is quick and intuitive: The music desk folds upward, and the legs extend to provide a stable 69cm base diameter. A special swivel joint allows the desk to be positioned horizontally, making it suitable for unconventional setups such as use as a conductor's stand. Optional accessories, including music clamps for securing loose sheets and a water-resistant nylon carrying case capable of transporting up to 20 stands, further enhance its practicality. These features make the K&M 10065 an excellent choice for orchestras, schools, and event organisers seeking dependable and versatile music stands.

BK
Very good music stand
Bobo K 10.03.2019
This is a very sturdy stand! I'm very pleasantly surprised by how stable it is.

Pros:

- good sturdy construction overall;
- even when it's fully extended, it doesn't wobble when pages are turned;
- the legs have rubber endings, so it doesn't slide on the floor and it also won't leave any scratches or markings on the floor surface;
- the knobs hold up the tubes very well. tightening happens with minimal effort;

Cons:
- honestly, can't think of anything specific...
- maybe (a big maybe) if you're traveling on foot/bike/public transport, it will be a bit heavy to carry by hand but you can also get a case for it that has a handle here on Thomann.

Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who needs a trustworthy stand for a lot of gigs. This thing will not break easily, it will not fall apart, and its parts will not bend if there is stuff laying on it in, say, a longer trip.

No other stand will beat this all time classic in transportability.
steadiness is usually a bit of a different story,
But hey it's K&M, that helps!

A
Very stable and almost indestructible
Anonymous 22.11.2022
Our concert band ordered 42 of these some years ago. When folded, we can store and very practically move them in seven "Gravity BGMS 6 SB" bags.
The stands are very stable and almost indestructible. From personal experience, the cheaper K&M 101 stand eventually dislodges from its crimped socket where the feet connect, where this 10065 stand has a screw in place to prevent that.
So far we only lost one 10065 stand when somebody stepped over the edge of the a stage level and fell on the next lower stage level. Fortunately she was uninjured and permanently bent the feet of the stand (and broke the center connector) rather than landing on the two euphoniums parked directly next to it.
Sometimes we have musicians that don't fasten the screws after folding; we did lose a few screws over time and bought some spares separately.

H
Extremely sturdy, but not so intuitive to set up
Horia1 20.04.2020
The stand just arrived and its quality seems to be over the average. (even compared to more expensive stands) It is extremely sturdy, the screwing bits seem to be qualitative, and its size when folded indeed will help a lot with portability. The only con that I find to it is how hard it is to set up: the process itself is easy, but figuring it out is a pain. Maybe it is just my case, but some instructions should be included with the stand.
