I know I did.
It’s easy to set up and as soon as I was like, “Hey! It’s resisting!” I didn’t push on but looked through the manual once more.
When you push up the parts that make for the sheet-music holder, you’ve got hinged parts that are long and hinged parts that are short. The short ones should stay down! Only the long parts should go up!
Some people complained that the parts were bent. I suspect they may have used force, instead of perseverance, a headache brought onto themselves for not checking the manual, and then finally the manual.
It’s real easy to setup and you need it, because when you put your lesson book flat on the table, your posture is going to be wrong, not allowing for proper gripping of your guitar or good embouchure of your mouth harp, any of these kinds of problems.
To make studying easy on yourself, especially when you hate sheet music, this is what you need to get it over with.
Great music stand, if you read the manual, real easy to set up. They even put a nice video here on Thomann that illustrates how easy it is. Watch it once more before you set it up!
Because you need to read the manual instead of creatively investigate how it works, I took one star off of the handling, because if there’s one thing I hate more than reading sheet music, it’s reading the manual.
