Bloody brilliant pedal

This tube screamer does it for me! It sound pretty amazing and I even decided to not buy an overdrive anymore, simply because this pedal creates an awesome sound on its own. Great job of the JHS guys!

Ay
Is it me or is it the JHS hype?
All you need is love 13.05.2022
As many of the contemporary pedal nerds, I've learnt a lot from Josh Scott and his team, but maybe their 3 series overdrives are not for me (and my low cost gear: simple Roland amp, clean channel, Squier Affinity Strat). I've tried the JHS 3 series Overdrive and now recently the JHS 3 series Screamer. In a nutshell: my Boss Blues Driver BD-2 is still my best choice, stacked or alone, single or double coil pickups.
I was excepting that Scott's TS-"strong mod" would be as awsome as the videos and demos showed it to be, but with my gear I just found it as good as any other overdrive (in that sense, the JHS 3 series overdrive was better, if you could accept the "Body" parameter"). But then agan, it might just be the case that I'd only need a true tube amp and a coil mod to really use this JHS Screamer. Still, as there are other pedals that sound just perfect wtih my gear, then it's just simply not for me, not this time. Maybe I'll try then Josh's take on the BB (i.e. MG) and see if the experience is as good as the hype. UPDATE: after tweaking it together with the Boss BD-2, I decided to keep it, and I have noticed that the standard symmetrical clipping (- mode) stacks well, whereas the assymetrical clipping (+ mode or strong mod mode) stands alone, i thought it was worth the experimentation, and so far it is still the case. Cheers!

Traum Zerrer
The mike 19.05.2022

Wahnsinns Zerre, klingt nie matschig, oder klassisch "TS" like.

Tolles Teil, geiler Preis.
