Simple end effective

I use these jacks on my Sommer guitar cable, works like a charm. It is easy to solder even for beginners, it easy to disassemble and looks and feels durable and of good quality. The only thing that is different form let say Neutrik is the cable hole that has no rubber seal, so the cable kind of leans on the edge (no biggy as it is not sharp) - all good if you don`t spill beer on cables to often.

- pros: well built and simple to solder
- cons: no actual cons, maybe just that you can not use cables that are more that 7,5 mm wide (but most regular cables are lees that that)

Used as a connector for Offboard pedals.

I've got a Pedal Train 2 and too many pedals, so the Sho Bud and the Jen Wah sit off the main board... I prefer the Hicon jacks, to George Ls jacks (which I mostly use on the pedal board) because Hicons aren't prone to being over-tightened and the tip shorting to earth.

They're great distintive jacks with a smaller profile than the Neutriks I use on my guitars. Just as sturdy by the looks of it and solid points to solder too inside the jack - I will say that I much prefer the tags in the angle jacks as they've got holds to anchor the wires in, these (like Neutriks) are soldered to a half-tube emerging from the plug - totally adequate and very unlikely to break.

The look great and go really well with Sommer Spirit cable.

Used for thick tweed guitar cable to replace original flimsy jacks. Holds very well.

Less known to Neutrik but of superior quality
LocoNerdGeek 07.10.2020
These are one of the best 1/4" jack offerings out there, take solder well, built like a tank and looks great. They take a cable of even large diameter so may be used to build speaker cable. Totally recommended
