If you can get over aesthetic imperfections it might come with, this is a great instrument.
First, the problems:
The finish is messed up around the edges, but since it's satin (the store mislabeled it as matte) you can only see when it catches the light. There's a bump on the bottom where perhaps the topcoat wasn't sprayed evenly, and a tiny dent along the top that I did not cause. (I am less careful with my actual seven year old sister than I am with this guitar). But being minor flaws, it took me a while to find them, especially as the satin finish hides them, so you might not be bothered either way!
Speaking of the satin finish, you may find it hard to clean of fingerprints. I do. Edit: it has become unevenly hazy since i bought it, which is very annoying. Been covering it up with stickers.
Good stuff next:
The frets are polished to a mirror shine and not one of them is out of place.
It stays in tune reasonably well.
It sounds great.
The fingerboard is super nice actually. At least when you're upgrading from an instrument on which it was (quite unevenly) painted black.
The tuner works just fine, even if I'm not a fan of the orientation of the display. The light that tells you it's on broke within the year but the functionality is there. They could rotate it 90 degrees counter clock-wise so the letters are actually freaking upright, and it would be more user-friendly, but it does the job of helping you tune the guitar, so I guess I can't complain. I haven't had a chance to test the rest of the electronics.
The factory strings sounded great, but keep in mind that it comes strung with 012s so if you're not into that, as I wasn't, you'll need to change them.
Sure, it's not as pretty as it could be, but it's still pretty /good/, and it's a reasonably priced left-handed instrument, which is rare.
TL;DR It isn't and couldn't be flawless. But it's damn good.
EDIT: over the 9 months I've had it, intonation has gone to s h i t, and when i got in touch with thomann they were kinda weird about it, originally asking for proof and then not coming thru when i asked for a platform to upload the video (like mega) since it was too big for gmail, and instead sending me a shipping label. I can't fucking USE THAT if i don't know for sure that thomann believes the issue falls under warranty, because I can't /afford/ to pay to have it fixed.
