Tut was es soll

The soft towel has finally been replaced
I use an old architect drawing table to paint and also as my guitar tech station. In the past i used a soft towel to put the guitar on with a make shift headrest from bubble wrap. Not an ideal solution but I just never looked into anything different until now. Main reason is that I needed a more grippy surface for doing routing work for pick ups.
Enter the Harley Benton Service station . This surface is way more stable and the headrest is flexible enough to work on guitars in all shapes and sizes. The head rest is made from cork and in combination with the surface it mostly stays in place.
Great to have on top of even surfaces and good to work with even with clamping down a guitar body. The only downside was the rough cutting of the head rest, almost but not completely symmetrical. Hence the 4 out of 5

Good quality, bit unstable
It does it's job, but it is a bit unstable when you are working on your guitar. It's sliding and you have to reposition your guitar a few times. Overall I give it 4 stars, because I believe this is something all non-fixed work stations encounter.

Unfortunately the best product I’ve gotten from Harley Benton so far
I think the title says it all. The mat is nice and the neck rest works for both acoustic and electric it does what it’s intended to do

Kein Profi Equipment, aber brauchbar!
Ist ein guter Preis-/ Leistungskompromiss
Instrument liegt stabil und wird nicht verkratzt.

Very good quality but a bit annoying to assemble.
The assembling part is not so nice as you have to tread the neck support to the base that goes through the hole on the carpet. It takes some time.
In my case, I don't leave it assembled as I don't have a specific workshop for that.
It would facilitate a lot if there was a kind of strong magnet to attach the neck support to the metal base.
Overall, quality is very good and i'm happy with it.

good
Good for amateur use, you need something like this if you have a lot of guitars, a bit overpriced but it does the work.
