Excellent value for money

I own several classic hohner harmonicas I can't really tell the difference between those and the Harley Benton one. Keep in mind I am amateur player and play this at home for fun.

In short, if you are considering trying harmonica as a new instrument to see if it suits you, this is perfect and dirt cheap!

great for starters and to test if your songs could use or not a harp, (without having to spend 35€ to find out it doesn't)
for the price, they are great, i bought every note i was missing, and if i find one to work well with a song, i just buy the real one for it.

Not a toy! A good instrument for that price.

As a beginner and I don't want to spend a lot of money over the first set of harmonicas just in case I may lack some interest on them and start learning another instrument. Therefore I was very surprise with the good sound you can get out of these harmonicas for the price of a caffe-latte. One day I may get some expensive ones but the fact that these have such a nice sound has definitely grab my interest now in learning to play them better. This one in particular has a very balanced tone and all the reeds resonate very well. I am very happy with it. If you are also a beginner, do some research first (ex: Youtubers) to find out what Keys (A, B, C... etc) work best for your songs and style of music as well as some useful tips on playing techniques.

M
Harp for Beginners
Martin659 12.02.2014
Obviously the sound of the Harley Benton lack of 'woody' normal there is no wood ... (Compared to the Marine Band).
The advantage is that the price was still, I think, all keys at hand. for 38 euros at Thomann.
For comparison, it should be + / - pay 240 euros for the same thing with Marine Band. So for a beginner or qq fortunate few is fine.

Obviously the price / quality ratio is excellent, as everything is made by small Chinese gnenfants overexploited.

The biggest problem that we can find them is a strange plastic not pleasant at first contact. The smell goes to use but not really top (we feel that it's not what the bio ....).

So: Excellent for beginners. I would do this choice.
