Gretsch G9110 Std. Concert Ukulele
Anonymous 10.05.2016
I had ordered the soprano model but decided I might be a bit fat-fingered. Also, the pictures showed the older one with peg tuners (updated since) but a quick email to Thomann confirmed it came with geared tuners. Arrived well set up and gig-bag is a bonus. I learned 'When I'm 64' by the Beatles first and won't be turning back :)

T
Great little instrument
TheFibs 11.03.2022
I bought this as a gift for someone who had never touched an uke before. I must say even in their still inexperienced hands it sounds great. It has a warm sound and is surprisingly loud. The only weak point are the tuning pegs, while I don’t mind them being open tuners because of the weight reduction, I hate that they cheaped out on the pegs and made them out of plastic. Probably not a big deal for most, but I would have preferred better quality ones.
Overall though, I’d say it’s a great instrument for anybody that wants a good uke without breaking the bank.

Specs geändert? Specs changed?

For anyone who has problems with the "classic" friction tuners shown here (at the time of this review): I bought the uke and it came with normal open gear tuners. A bit confusing, as the innovation has only been partially updated on the manufacturer's website. It may no longer look as authentic as a result, but it may benefit the tunability. Otherwise a useful instrument for the price.

Superbe !
