Very useful, but they wear out.

Ever since I put them on my strat and tele, the tuning stability improved more than I expected!

The only drawback is that the treble strings slowly cut through the nut, so they start buzzing at the first frets.

I've got no problem with replacing them every 10-20 months, but if you gig daily and use the tremolo a lot, this may be troublesome.
