Lovely guitar let down by poor finish
Ralph-UK 19.04.2024
This is a really nice guitar and I really like the solid sparkly colour. The 50s neck is not chunky, it just feels really nice in the hand compared to the slimmer 60s neck. I was really surprised with the Burstbucker 1 pickup in the bridge, it's big and chunky with plenty of output for rock and metal music.

Unfortunately the guitar was let down with quality issues and is being returned. The rosewood used for the fretboard was poor, it had several areas of open grain which looked like the wood has split. Doesn't affect sound but aesthetically it looks poor. There was also some blobs of adhesive near the nibs/frets and I also had tool marks on several frets.

Overall a great guitar, but I was disappointed with the finish.

Gibson is the best!
DustBg 09.12.2024
This guitar is awesome! Sound, build quality, everything. It can play everything, from jazz to modern metal. Literally! Some guys are complaining of weight. Come on, this is Gibson, this is how It should be! When you hear the tone and infinite sustain, you'll forget about the weight ;)
