Nothing to complain about
I was looking for a chair which seems durable, stable and comfortable. This drum throne offers everything of the mentioned characteristics and I am very happy with it.
In contrast to other bought items, I have not spend so much time with researching the best throne. So there might be better deals out there, but this drum throne seemed and still seems quite reasonable to me. It is heavier than expected which is good and I assume I can use it for much more time in the future.

Worth getting ... will recommend
Gibraltar has consistently produced quality and durable drum hardware - have been using it for 20+ years. We bought this (as part of a total refurbishing of our stage and sound equipment) as drum throne for a newly acquired Roland TD20K.
It sits really well, is adjustable for almost any size and is stable. The double bracing is important for stability and that feeling of security when you sit or rock in rhythm. On the adjustability. I must admit if you sit really low or have to sit really low in order to get your knee angle at 90° or less to the floor, you may have some issues to get it low enough especially if you are somewhat taller than 180cm.
The seating material (it is not a mesh seat, but padded sponge) may make you sweat but in a well conditioned auditorium and LED lighting rather than the old style heaters, you may still be able to have a comfortable experience.
For the price, this is worth it. Get it if it fits your budget.

Top product
It's very well made, has great materials and workmanship. This is my first drummer throne and I'm perfectly happy with this one. Out of all the options here in Thomann, I chose this one with turning mechanism as it appeared the most reliable and comfortable in handling. And it is! Great choice. Don't go for those cheap $30 stools, you want it to last, do you?

Very stable!
I like this throne. I've had some other brands around the same price point in the past and some of them (many of them) inevitably end up starting to get creaky and noisy and wobbly and annoying. Not this one. This one has held up very well. I have had it for four years, I think.
I'm not a super heavy guy, I'm around 85 kilos, and it has held me very well. The rubber feet feel super solid and nice and the height adjustment works very well and clamps down tight when you are done adjusting. There's no wobble, no creaking, nothing annoying about this throne. I definitely can recommend this one.

sturdy, comfy
Also doesn't squeak like the ancient "beginner kit" stool it replaced

Great throne
only annoyance was that it included no instructions of any kind, so I'm not exactly sure how all these different means to tighten the still function or what's the right way to extend/ sheeted the height. Some instructions would be helpful. Odd that nothing was included.

Comfort at its peak
I love these thrones personally because they are very comfortable for every one (small or big) and they are easy to use and handle. Very strong but also can go as high as you want it. Highly recommend

It just does the job well
I got this throne for my bands rehersal space and it's awesome. Easy adjustability, the build feels sturdy and the seat is thick and comfortable. Haven't had any issues with sweat. For the price, it's a no brainer, if you don't have any specific needs that would warrant getting a pricier throne.

Great seat, sturdy and reliable.
Overall it is a really comfy and sturdy seat. There are no flaws in terms of usability.
However for my occasion, a piece of memory lock metal plating has broken of from the friction to the seat shaft itself. In addition, the memory lock seems to get loose sometimes.
