What you are missing
Eldarulthran 07.05.2023
The product is a clamp rest for guitar and allows you to mount to most surfaces no issues at all and clamp has nice padding. I got it as I tend to leave my guitar laying up against desk with a capo or laying again sofa, as a result it would slide from time to time and hit the ground not what I want for my guitar so got this as a way to be able to place the guitar without worrying it will fall, overall product is strong and study would recommend as it handy for people who have to drop and go

B
Good desk clamp rest
Bucket 18.09.2024
It does what it does really well.
The construction is very solid and the finish is well done.
The only two downsides I find are as such;
- The pick slots are not for thick picks
- My Les Paul type guitar was not balanced when standing on its straplock, so it would keep turning 90 degrees.
That makes it look a bit precarious in my eyes.
There's no 'lock' in front that comes with it, but you could fashion one yourself out of any rubber or elastic thing, I suppose.
The clamp is quite wide/large, it does not grab the neck in the slightest.
And thus, if I rest my main guitar in it against my desk, I do not feel safe that it will stay in place.
It still needs something to sit on and lock the guitar in the neck rest so there is no chance of it falling out.
As such, I would take one star away for stability and finish for these two problems.
But if your guitar balances well, then this can work well!
I'd love to see a version with a body rest that goes downward, but still clamps to the desk. That would also work for an electric sit-stand desk and still provide a convenient but secure way to quickly put the guitar out of your hands, close to your workstation.

B
Pleasantly surprised
Bzl&Bzl 01.07.2024
Pictures don't do it justice, that's what my impression was, when I got this guitar holder. It's a simple tool, but it's built very well, it's solid, and when I mounted it on the table there clearly was no doubt - this thing will work as advertised. Totally happy with it.

you get what you pay, it does what it supposed to, the only thing I didn't like is that is only can be use in thin tables, and it leaves a rubber mark on the instrument
