Flight GUT850 Guitarlele

Having played the Guitarlele for a while, I decided it was time to upgrade to a more expensive instrument. The Flight Guitarlele is very high end but still excellent value. Many features were a surprise and not mentioned in the description such as the ball end frets, usually only seen on much more expensive instruments, and the high quality Prowel tuners. The finish is flawless and the action was perfect right out of the box. The decorative fretboard markers are another nice feature. I also like the gloss finish on the body and the satin finish on the neck. The strings are Savarez as standard and sound beautiful. I am in love!

Ich habe zuerst eine Guitarlele eines anderen Herstellers bestellt und war sehr unzufrieden mit der Verarbeitung. Barre liess sich im ersten Bund gar nicht greifen, da die Saitenlage viel zu hoch war. Der Klang war auch nicht so dolle.
Ich kenne Ukulelen von Flight, allerdings hat es bei einer meiner Ukulelen drei Bestellungen gebraucht bis eine gekommen ist, bei der alles gepasst hat.
Um so mehr war ich positiv überrascht als ich die GUT850 in den Händen hielt.

Die Guitarlele ist top verarbeitet, hat eine perfekte Saitenlage (Hals justierbar, Inbus ist dabei), und einen vollen Klang.
Die Bünde lassen sich bis zum 15 Bund locker bespielen. Der Korpus ist lackiert und der Hals hat ein mattes Finish, so dass man auch bei schwitzigen Händen nicht rutscht.
Das einzige was zunächst ungewöhnlich ist, ist die Strings-through-Bridge. Aber zum Glück gibt es ein Tutorial auf YT, wie man die Saiten wechselt.
Hier hat Flight ein gut durchdachtes und hochwertiges Instrument auf den Markt gebracht. Ich werde sie als meine Reisegitarre nutzen.
Eine hochwertige Tasche mit guter Polsterung ist auch dabei, so dass dem Schätzchen beim Transport nichts passieren kann.

Tra i guitarlele comunemente in commercio penso che sia uno dei migliori se non il migliore. Inizialmente ho provato lo Yamaha GL1 ma non mi ha stupito più di tanto (è un prodotto abbastanza economico), successivamente ho provato il Gretsch G9126-ACE, questo è carino, ha una forma da ukulele tenore ma il suono è un po' grezzo. Ho avuto modo anche di provare l'Ortega RGLE18ACA, questo l'ho apprezzato molto per l'estetica ma il suono sembrava quello di un giocattolino. In fine ho provato il Flight GUT850, quando l'ho suonato per la prima volta sono rimasto sbalordito, a differenza degli altri guitarlele questo suona come una chitarra vera e propria, sarà dovuto alla scala da 20", sara dovuto al fatto che le dimensioni sono quelle di un ukulele baritono, sarà il fatto che ha il top in Abete solido e l'X-bracing, sta di fatto che ha un suono che è paragonabile a quello di una chitarra. Purtroppo su 4 guitalele acquistati da Thomann solo 1 era conforme senza difetti strutturali e con un'ottima qualità di venatura del Top, gli altri sono arrivati tutti con dei difetti (alcuni con il ponte leggermente scollato, 3 con una catena del fondo leggermente scollata dalla parte delle corde più gravi). Altra cosa da dire è che con le corde originali appena lo si accorda in "A" dopo poco si rompe spesso (l'ho notato su tutti i Flight GUT850) la 4° e la 5° corda. Successivamente ho montato le Savarez Prodige 540CXS e non ci sono stati più problemi. Proverò a montare anche le D'Addario Extra Hard per provare ad accordarlo in "E" ed avere le corde con una giusta tensione. Posso ritenermi soddisfatto del prodotto. Lo consiglio!
