I used this on a Fender Mexican Standard Tele to swap out the white one.
Makes a great contrast with the white guitar and it's really classy looking.

As expected a superb Fender product well worth the money. Well packed, promptly delivered and overall a quality product. Now precisely fitted, played and gigged on a self made Telecaster styled guitar. An excellent choice won't hesitate to shop here again.

Scratches and marks right out of the box, no shielding

Unfortunately, the one I received had a few marks and many tiny but deep scratches right out of the box which were under the protective plastic, so they couldn't be seen before taking it off. Disappointing of course, but at this price point just unacceptable.
Also disappointed that there is no shielding underneath the pickguard whatsoever. That wasn't advertised, so I guess I shouldn't be mentioning it, but for the price I don't think it's unreasonable to expect at least a small piece of aluminum tape.
Only positives I can say are that it's a perfect fit for a Player Telecaster, and the edges of the pickguard are the smoothest I've seen.
I knew this pickguard wasn't great value compared to alternative offerings, but I wanted official parts for my guitar that I really like. If I had known high price doesn't guarantee quality, I would've just saved some money and bought from another brand instead.

Low cost way to change look of guitar.

Not much to say here except that this replacement pick guard lined up perfectly with the original holes in my Mexican Tele and gave me the look I was after.
