Great bang for the buck

Mine had a crooked volume pot which needed to be replaced, probably due to shipment. The trem-bridge was clicking a tiny bit when using the trem heavily (corrected by lubricating trem-arm insertion point) and the action itself is a bit stiff, but I've seen strats worth a lot more coin doing the same and even worse. I was intending to upgrade the bridge for a ABM full-size steel block trem anyway, so that's fine. I'd say the bridge, while not being a bad piece of hardware, far from it, is the weak link on this guitar, as everything else feels and sounds great.
Tuning will hold up very well after a good setup and the pickups sound like they should - a great strat sound with a nice blend of warmth, clarity and grit.
The neck is very comfortable, with nice leveled tall frets, and the Indian Laurel fretboard looks very exotic in rugged, but lively, way. Very, very cool.

Amazing value for money
Conor O'Leary 28.04.2021
Sounds great, feels great, only problem I have is one or two very minor dings in the finish and a couple sharp fret ends but overall it's 100% worth the money.

A good squire strat
Anonymous 12.02.2023
Once setup is done properly it sounds and feels great. The finish is very nice, but above all I am impressed with the quality of the neck and the fretboard. I am not an experienced guitar player, but this guitar I really enjoy it. It is a good quality product for the price.

SQ strat CV not as expected
jolter 13.06.2024
Looks nice! Sounds nice! Pots, switch and PU's are nice! Woods are good, especially talking about natural finish as all grain is visible.
Tuners are grappy, worst I ever experianced. 100% to replace. Whammy is quite stable if it is turned to "very hard to move" position or even better to not movable pos. Fret finish is very good in terms of polish but ends are fairly ok, not very good. Not leveled good enough to leave as out of box. After levelling near perfect something still works against to setup the string hight as it normally worked for me.
So some work and replacemants are to be done to make it very good but if it is occasional instrument for jamming fromt time to time - go for it! Might be your specimen will be better at once. Good starting point to make it your for sure.
