I've just aquired and Fender Jazz that's been through a tough life, and as such am giving it a refurb.
It's sturdy, and does what it's supposed to. Price wise you can get cheaper, but I doubt they'd have the same quality as this.
If you've got a Fender then it deserves Fender hardware.

Vintage styling, does its job
Ton Ton 24.01.2021
Nothing to complain here, vintage styling and does what it's supposed. Doesn't have the grooves on the underside to guide your strings which I've seen some newer versions have, but doesn't really matter as the strings stay in place without problems anyway.

Say no to plastic string retainers
nssn 25.01.2024
Fender gets a lot of things right but putting plastic string retainers on some of their basses isn't great. Luckily that's a quick fix. This metal one is a proper replacement. It's also less shiny than the plastic one.

Excellent Quality
Basspower50 10.01.2019
Purchased this a while back, just got around to installing it.
The existing string guide on one of my P Basses was a bit tatty and discoloured so I bought this as a direct replacement. Strings sit in it perfectly and it looks, well, not tatty and discoloured anymore :)
