A little sensitive - otherwise good
Baribou 10.04.2018
A good, versatile pedal for the Fender Mustang - series of amplifiers (Mustang III, VI, V and Floor only). Very sturdy built, the whole thing made out of metal. It can be used for changing many different parameters on the amp, from volume and wah, to realtime control over delay and other effects. VERY versatile.

Mine was a little loose and kept falling down to toe-postion, but it can easily be fixed by tightening the single bolt that connects the pedal to the casing.

There's a small switch under the toe on the pedal, which will be activated if you step a bit harder on the toe. This change the function from Volume only to control over all the other parameters and effects, and back. This switch is actually a little too sensitive, and if you're not careful while using the pedal for volume for example, it can switch over to the other function.
I read about this on the manufacturer's own forum, and several people actually had this same experience. This is too bad on an otherwise very smart and well-thought-through pedal. It won't work in a live-situation unless you are really careful...

There are two led's that indicate on which function you presently are, but still, the switch is too sensitive.

Other than this, like I said, a good quality, versatile pedal.

Doesn't do the job
Alex<randomInteger> 15.05.2021
I bought it for my Fender GTX100 to use it as a volume / wah / pitch shifter pedal. Well, it worked, but with issues:
- The pedal is somewhat loose and tends to fall forward.
- It feels like the parameter that you control with the pedal lags or doesn't change smoothly.
- When you use both the footswitch and the Exp pedal, modes on the footswitch may toggle randomly. It doesn't happen when only the footswitch is used.
- The pedal works in two modes, expression and volume. Volume mode controls Master volume on the amp and can't be reassigned to anything. This is practically useless, can't use this mode for volume swells, for example. It also doesn't affect the line output. For volume swells I assigned the volume of a simulated amp to the expression mode of the pedal. That worked, but with glitches described above.

Expression pedal
Anonymous 29.02.2016
To start with i would like to say that i never owned an expression pedal before. I tried few wahs form my friends, but that waas never really my thing. I bought the fender mustang III and also this pedal. At first i thought that im going to use it just as an volume pedal to emphasize my solos. After a while, when i have learned how the fuse sowtware works, i realised it has a lot of interesting options. You can control almost everything you want, you just have to take a few minutes and youll figure all out.
It is build very nicely from some sort of metal and is very durable. It is also quite good looking.
Now i mostly use it as a volume pedal and as a wah. you can get some pretty good wah settings if you spend a couple of minutes on the fuse sowtfare.
This pedal is great you just have to spend a few hours to find out about its full potential...
when buying it thought you must be careful, because it only works on fender mustang 3 and 4 and if you do not own them it is pretty much useless

Good quailty

Well made pedal, good strong construction all metal. With the Mustang amps and Fender Fuse it is well worth getting as it allows you to control any effect in a patch. The instructions may seem a little daunting at first but in fact it is really easy to set up and use.
It can be used to control one effect be it a stomp box or rack. You decide exactly how much of that effect is controlled between 0% and 100%. For example you might have a tremolo stomp box controlled by the pedal. At the heel position you can have 20% and at the toe position 80%. And it does act, if you wish, as a very good volume pedal. You can switch between it being an FX pedal and volume just by clicking down hard at the toe.
It works alongside the 2 or 4 button Fender floor controller so you have good overall control without numerous effect pedals, something which suits me!
Fender have really thought the whole thing through and come up with a brilliant modern way of adding FX. A must have if you own a Mustang amp.
