Whoever thought we'd be excited about tuners?
Strings in the snow 19.03.2021
I have to hold my hands up and say that I was very, VERY skeptical about the advent of clip-on tuners. I primarily play electric or electro-acoustic guitars, so I'm used to plugging into handheld or pedal chromatic tuners as a matter of course, and I didn't think a clip-on could ever compete.

Consider me all turned around on the subject. In A/B testing against a Korg CA-2 plug-in tuner, the Bullet Tuner is just as accurate. In fact, it is if anything more "reassuring" than the Korg, which is sometimes a bit too sensitive to slight pitch changes in the decay of a string's vibration (meaning you might have to repeatedly pluck the string while under adjustment in order not to be driven to distraction by constant changes). The Bullet Tuner offers you a straight answer.

The biggest difference is sheer convenience. The Bullet Tuner clips on and stays out of my way when not in use, and is easily brought to life when needed. I have used it for quick tune ups during practice/recording, for string replacement, and for tone checks during action/intonation adjustments and other maintenance, and it does it all admirably – and with much less fuss than a traditional tuner. The swivel and pivot of the head is great for visibility and the metal casing feels reassuringly heavy and durable.

There are some minor niggles. The tuner is very sensitive to its position on the guitar's headstock (if playing an electric – it should be attached to the edge of the soundhole if playing an acoustic) and placed at the far end of a "fat Strat" headstock, it struggled to pick up the low E string. Pretty surprising, considering its manufacturer! It also would have been nice to have a rechargeable battery rather than the disposable cell battery used here (the tuner is small, but there's definitely room that could have been used to fit a USB port for charging).

All in all, though, this is a great piece of kit that should have you spending less time tuning and more time playing. Consider me a convert :-)

Great little tuner
DanielPaw 17.02.2022
This tuner is really tiny (which is great unless you tend to lose things).
But it also mean that you can easily leave it attached to your headstock if you're doing a lot of tuning and you will quickly forget that it's there.

Build quality is superb, feels premium and has a nice weight to it.
A little button at the back will bring it to life and you're good to go.

Great responsiveness and display is easy to read (you can also rotate it to your liking).

Really happy with this tuner and I feel like it will last quite some time.

Fender Bullet Tuner Review:
Mad Maximillion 06.03.2020
The Fender Bullet Tuner is a relatively new product on the market, but is one that should not be overlooked if you are searching for a gig-handy tuner that is serviceable and highly dependable. I myself have owned and used a number of other brand name tuners, (including Korg, Ibanez etc.) and of all the tuners I have owned and used I have found the Fender Bullet Tuner to be the best for live gig use.
Many other tuners have extra features that can be used at home or in non-pressure situations, but when the pressure is on in a live gig situation, and the bright lights are shining in your face, all you really want to know is whether your guitar is in tune or not, and this tuner fulfills that function admirably.
I highly recommend the Fender Bullet tuner: it is small in size, and unobtrusively fits on the guitar headstock, and does not distract the player from the main job of playing, and it is relatively inexpensive, despite being very well designed and solidly made.
So a big thumbs up to Fender from me, and I award the Fender Bullet Tuner very high marks indeed!Oh Yeah Yeah!!!!!!

Tiny and fast... but it broke after just a couple of months
Alex<randomInteger> 25.06.2022
// Edit: it served me about a couple of months and then it wouldn't switch on anymore. I didn't mistreat it in any way. Maybe I'm just unlucky with Fender stuff. //

First of all: The batteries are 2xLR44. It comes with batteries installed, but in my case they died after just a couple of uses, so be ready to replace them very soon.

Now about the tuner itself:
- It's really tiny, the same size as a tuning machine.
- It's very fast, compared to my previous tuner. Also quite accurate.
- The display is bright and clear.
