Compact acoustic and vocal amp

The Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo is perfectly suited to small performances, rehearsing, or just a little relaxing session at home. It is equipped with a 6" speaker which unleashes 15 watts of pure power, together with an input for acoustic instruments and an XLR input for a microphone. This budget-friendly amp also has a three-band EQ and a chorus effect that will give any connected acoustic guitar wings and lend sense of space to the sound. It is the size of a hatbox and weighs under five kilos, making this little Tolex-covered combo easy to carry, so wherever the user lays their amp, it will be at home.

Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo for Acoustic Guitars

Small but feature-packed

The Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo features two inputs that are accessible via the clearly laid-out control panel. The first has an XLR socket, which is typically used for connecting a microphone. The second, meanwhile, is designed as a 6.35mm jack socket for connecting a guitar or another acoustic instrument. Both channels share a three-band EQ (bass, mid-range, treble), in addition to which channel two also boasts a chorus effect which beautifully enhances the sound of the instrument that is plugged in. The 6" speaker has an in-built tweeter at its centre especially for high frequencies, ensuring that the overall sound is bright. A headphone socket allows musicians to play or practise in total peace and quiet. The power cable is also of a decent length, and the hook-and-loop strap on the back makes it easy to attach to the amp's housing during transport.

An affordable amp for acoustic musicians

Its user-friendliness and affordability make the Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo an essential piece of kit for any beginner who is looking to amplify acoustic instruments. It is extremely easy to transport thanks to its compact size and light weight, and it can sit discreetly on a desk or shelf. To be sure that nothing gets damaged in transit, the amp is covered in chic, coffee-coloured Tolex and features metal-reinforced corners. The in-built tweeter in the centre of the 6" speaker ensures great frequency coverage and as a result, any guitar sound will have clear treble frequencies and vocals will be bright and crisp as well. All in all, the Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo thus offers great sound quality to beginners and professionals alike without breaking the bank.

About Fender

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Timeless Fender amplifier models such as the Bassman, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton also enjoy a stellar reputation. Besides maintaining its classic product portfolio, however, the company is also constantly developing new products that make Fender a driving force in today’s music industry.

Controls on the Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo for Acoustic Guitars

From the living room to the high street in a flash

Whether playing in the pedestrian precinct, relaxing at home, or rehearsing in whatever location, the Fender Acoustasonic 15 Combo will deliver plenty of power - courtesy of its 15W output - to effortlessly amplify any acoustic guitar and singer's voice (or both). The chorus effect only comes through the instrumental channel, so the voice and guitar are truly separate and do not end up in a hot mess of buzz. Whereas many amplifiers in this price range only offer a basic tone dial, this combo has a genuine three-band EQ that allows the user to adapt the sound of the amp to their personal taste and to the sound conditions of their surroundings.

Nice little amp
Dan99 12.01.2021
I bought this amp because it's fairly light and easy to transport. As usual with Fender the production quality is very good, as is the sound.

I feel it is lacking a reverb function, but for the price that's acceptable.

A good amp for playing at home, and could probably manage small venues too.

great for practice and beginner

this little amp sits in my living room and i have never yet taken it above 50% volume (Yet) but sounds great with my ukulele, clean and clear with no buzzing. The basic equalizers provide some adjustment which is noticeable. Its an attractive colour giving it a classic look, and its relatively small and light too.

Fender Acoustasonic 15 short review.

Great little amp for acoustic rehearsals.
A reverb unit, rather than a chorus effect would be more useful for both the Vocal and Guotar channels.
