K
double sustain pedal
Kevin216 29.08.2013
a bit confusing as there are two very similar products which work in a different way. All you really need is a polarity button to use with any keyboard. Anyway.....I use this VFP2-15M with a Roland XP80 and Roland XP50. Not sure if it works with other keyboards, or whether you need the reverse polarity instead.

A bit plasticy
Soryno47 10.07.2024
This unit seems to be well built and should stand up to even professional environments and use. The pedals are of normal size for piano sustain pedals, are spaced well and have a good feel. The base is large and flat, sturdily constructed, has rubber feet, and is sufficiently heavy to be stable. It stays in place in my studio. It does the job well, so far. The cable is much longer than I need to reach my keyboard under which it sits. I suppose the manufacturer envisions other environments in which that extra length would be useful, but for me, it's just excess loose cable that I have to deal with.

The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I just got it and don't know how it will hold up over time. I suspect it will do well and that I could eventually raise my score to 5 stars, but not just yet.

I am well satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the unit to others.

M
took a bit of setting up
MarcMacHine 30.08.2017
solidly made, though could do with some kind of anti-slip technology on the underside.

Using it with a Fatar VMK188 controller, had to change the polarity in the MIDI setup to get piano-like sustain action, which is not the easiest to manage (also set up the lh pedal to cc# 66), now it works fine.

Travel is quite short, shorter than the one it replaced, which makes it a bit trigger happy, but otherwise fine.

t
Nice addition to a Nord Electro
tsn 22.05.2021
Bought this as an addition to my Nord Electro 6D; I'm using the left paddle to switch the rotary speed of the Leslie and the right paddle for sustain.

Pros:
- nice quality, lays solid on the floor without sliding around.
