The perfect digital Elektron box

With 16 tracks, 16 voices, and four deep machines, plus enhanced effects and a compressor, all packed within the familiar Digitone workflow—this is Elektron at its finest. This could very well be the best machine Elektron has created.

The original Digitone has always been my favorite, but it felt somewhat limited. When I tried the Syntakt, it introduced some interesting features but ultimately felt even more constrained. The Digitakt was impressively versatile, yet the sampling-focused design without robust synth modulation wasn’t ideal for me.

Enter the Digitone 2, a groovebox that finally checks all the boxes I’ve been looking for. My only minor gripe? There’s no chord mode yet. Hopefully they will include in the next updates.

Endlich die polyphone Maschine meiner Träume

Bei Elektron Geräten kann man eigentlich nie etwas verkehrt machen. Mir hat bisher nur die Polyphonie (in dieser Form) gefehlt . Zwar hat der Analog Rytm schon gute Dienste geleistet, aber der DN II topt nun alles. 16 Stimmen und multitimbral. Schon die ersten Töne aus den Demos waren ein Ohrenschmaus. Ausser FM auch noch spannende, "virtuell analoge" Maschinen und seit dem DT II auch ein aufgebohrter FX-Block als Sahnehäubchen oben drauf. Fast schon alle digitalen Effekte vom Analog Heat +FX. Was will man mehr.

Ich bin jedenfalls restlos vom Elektron Virus infiziert und in Schweden ist ja schon der nächste Kandidat in der Pipeline ;-)
