Heavy bass distortion without clank
Catching Bass 24.06.2024
Perfect for those who want a huge deep bass distortion without the fizz or clank from some other well known brands. This is exactly what I’d been looking for.

Ma "première" distorsion basse
Slipndi 06.04.2024

Cool, but not my cup of tea
AnttiMogens 10.06.2024
Bass distortion is a finicky subject.
Most of it comes down to personal taste, so take this with a grain of salt...

I was looking for a new bass distortion to add a bit of bite to the sound.
So far I had the Bass Soulfood from Electro Harmonix, which i never really liked.
So i got this ant the Blumes from Earthquaker Devices for a Testdrive.
In the end the Blumes was much closer to what I was looking for, so this one goes back to shop.
I played around with it for a good hour but was unable to find a setting where i didn't loose too much punch and bass. Even despite the builtin Blend control.
Just for reference: I always liked the bass tone of Tim Commerford the most, just to understand where I'm coming from
