I bought this just to use the filter without the envelope generator in conjunction with my synths. I quickly found that it is a very versatile pedal with many useful functions. it can sound brutal in a good way but subtle it down a bit and its delicious. Its a very well thought out pedal. 5stars

Dieses Pedal kann einiges sein:
Booster, Distortion, Kompressor, Envelope Filter, Bandpass
und all das noch in Verbindung mit den Patchpoints für modulare Systeme. Klingt erstmal unschlagbar bis man einen bestimmten Sound einstellen möchte. Es gibt nähmlich so gut wie keine Parameter zum Einstellen auf dem Gerät. Ich vermisse besonders eine Möglichkeit den Bandpassfilter zu bearbeiten, da wäre nen Amount und/oder Width schon sehr schön gewesen. Also trifft dieses Pedal entweder den Geschmack der Benutzer*innen oder eben nicht.
Ich für meinen Teil verwende das Gerät am Bass und finde die Einfachheit vor allem im Kompressormodus völlig in Ordnung weil die gänigen Parameter (attack, release, threshold, ratio) gut eingestellt sind. Mir gefällt der Sound zwar aber mein Rat an potentiell Interessierte heißt: Ausprobieren!

This pedal can be a lot of things: booster, distortion, compressor, envelope filter, bandpass and all of that in conjunction with the patch points for modular systems. At first it sounds unbeatable until you want to set a specific sound. There are almost no parameters to set on the device. I particularly miss an option to edit the bandpass filter, an amount and/or width would have been very nice. So this pedal either meets the taste of the user or it doesn't. For my part, I use the device on the bass and find the simplicity, especially in compressor mode, completely fine because the common parameters (attack, release, threshold, ratio) are well set. I like the sound, but my advice to anyone potentially interested is: give it a try!

Familier des produits Dreadbox, leur nouvelle gamme d'effet m'a tout de suite tenté. De plus la potentielle modularité décloisonne un peu les chapelles guitares/machines, ce qui me parle beaucoup.
Le produit est très beau, un peu plus grand que le format BOSS standard. Packaging sexy, comme toujours chez Dreadbox. Malgré l'aspect solide je ne sais pas si je l'emmènerai en tournée des caves sans un peu de précautions... Les points de patch ne sont pas beer-prof je crois.
Le produit seul est une proposition de compresseur/filtre/saturation très musical. Sur boîte-à-rythme c'est divin, il est possible de chauffer voir détruire des textures à la base très froides ou numériques. Sur voix et instrument acoustique c'est très naturel, en plus d'être ludique.
Côté guitares (et basse) c'est assez redoutable et donne vite envie d'être utilisé comme son de "base" en guise d'Overdrive.
Là où cette pédale brille c'est en l'utilisant avec d'autres machines semi-modulaire ou les soeurs de cette gamme Dreadbox. La Kinematic propose une detection de l'enveloppe en entrée du signal... qui peut-être envoyée à d'autres paramètres que le filtre. On peut obtenir un trémolo dynamique suivant l'intensité de jeux, ou alors des effets de wha expressifs. Avec la Komorebi (issue de la même gamme) c'est un combo lo-fi démoniaque, tout producteur de son devrait avoir ces outils dans son arsenal.
Dans un environnement de travail semi-modulaire (ne pas tomber dans le trou-noir) cette gamme de pédale Dreadbox est essentielle. Avec un Dust Collector de Finegear je suis aux anges.

Familiar with Dreadbox products, their new effect range immediately tempted me. In addition, the potential modularity opens up the guitar/machine compartments a little, which really speaks to me. The product is very beautiful, a little larger than the standard BOSS format. Sexy packaging, as always at Dreadbox. Despite the solid appearance, I don't know if I would take it on a cellar tour without a little precaution... The patch points are not beer-prof, I think. The product alone is a very musical compressor/filter/saturation proposition. On a rhythm machine it's divine, it is possible to heat or even destroy textures that are basically very cold or digital. On voice and acoustic instrument it's very natural, in addition to being fun. On the guitar (and bass) side, it's quite formidable and quickly makes you want to be used as a "basic" sound as an Overdrive. Where this pedal shines is when using it with other semi-modular machines or the sisters in this Dreadbox range. The Kinematic offers detection of the signal input envelope... which can be sent to parameters other than the filter. You can obtain a dynamic tremolo depending on the intensity of the playing, or expressive wha effects. With the Komorebi (from the same range) it's a demonic lo-fi combo, every sound producer should have these tools in their arsenal. In a semi-modular work environment (don't fall into the black hole) this range of Dreadbox pedals is essential. With a Dust Collector from Finegear I am in heaven.

Klingt super, Patchpunkte sind toll, zb um einen LFO einzuspeisen, bedienung erst nicht so mega intuitiv aber man kommt schnell rein, regler für width/range vom Frequenzbereich fehlt ein bisschen, ist aber ok eingestellt.
