If someone told you that bigger string gauges sound better or stay in tune better they are full of it. That is a myth. Bigger strings make most 7 strings sound muddy and you lose note definition. I have these on my Dean RC7x with a 25.5" scale length, I have it tuned to B Standard for 7 String (B E A D G B E), just like a 6 string with 09 to 42 strings, and an extra 54 for the Low B.
I play almost every day for at least a half hour to an hour. Only gotta tune up about once a week. These strings stay in tune well, are very crisp, and if you clean them (which you should with any string) they should last about a month. Better and more affordable than most of its competitors

Perfect for baritone 7s

I had the challenge of playing in a band with a bagpipe player, which works best accompanied by guitar in C or F#. So I had to tune a half step up from standard 7 string tuning. And this set works great for that! since then I've moved on to baritone length 7 strings (27"), and to me that is just the right spot for tightness when playing standard B as well.
On a standard 7 string with a 25.5" scale, I would personally feel these strings are too loose for standard B.
The strings themselves are very classic Daddario quality; coloured ball ends, good tone and life, rarely breaks.
Very good quality for people that me that just want some strings on their guitar and don't want to deal with coatings, high prices and so on.

theese strings are some of the cheapest I found, yet work wonders, crisp sound and if you use it with fast fret, just feels like butter
