I like to have a lot of easy controls for testing or training. This one does it job well in this regard. However I wish the quality of some parts of it would be a bit higher like the unprotected small screen. The faders move smoothly.
It is very nice to have an IN and OUT DMX.
However, the DMX output/input and power input are sticking out. Which means that you need to account for an extra small or empty unit above the controller. Otherwise it would not fit in. Angle IEC power and DMX could work but at extra cost.
For the price it is acceptable.

It’s always useful to have a small controller for testing and for small gigs. This is it.
It is very solidly built and also will fit into a 19 inch rack. The internal power supply means you have a sturdy IEC connector at the back, not the flimsy low voltage ones found on other units. The colour coded tops are another bonus, as is the ability to set it to any DMX start address. They seem to have thought of everything with this one.

Super Teil!
Für einen Theaterverein, bei dem viele Personen - zumeist ohne Kenntnisse der Lichtsteuerung - mal ans Pult müssen um Licht auf die Bühne zu bekommen aber kein Techniker vor Ort ist, einfach ideal! Minimalistisch, keine Programmiertasten die Probleme bereiten, kein Blackout, nicht einmal einen Master.
Flash-Tasten allerdings wären doch noch ganz schön.
Verarbeitung ist gut - besonderes Feature: es liegen zusätzliche Faderkappen bei, so dass man über die unterschiedlichen Farben (schwarz, weiß und rot jeweils 8 verbaut und 8 dazugelegt) die Fader für bestimmte Zwecke kennzeichnen kann.
Die Einstellmöglichkeit der Startadresse (mit DIP-Schalter) und die Durchschleifmöglichkeit des DMX-Signals habe ich bisher bei noch keinem Pult in der unteren Preisklasse gesehen.
Wir setzen ein USB-DMX-Interface ein. Da softwareseitig der Eingang mit MIDI-Pads belegt ist, ist ein Durchschleifen des DMX-Signals nicht möglich. Somit musste man während des PC-Einsatzes auf das Pult verzichten. Überdies war immer das Umstecken des DMX-Kabels vom Interface an's Pult notwendig. Das gab oft den Anruf "hier geht nichts"...
Nun ist das Pult in der DMX-Kette nach dem Interface geschaltet - nein, es sind inzwischen 2 Pulte und damit 48 Kanäle die gleichzeitig mit dem Computer angesteuert werden können (natürlich überlagert der jeweilige Kanal die Fader-bzw. Softwareeinstellung).
