Das Kabel funktioniert einwandfrei, ist aber recht dick, schwer und nicht besonders flexibel, dadurch allerdings auch sehr stabil.
Jemand schrieb hier, dass man ein x-beliebiges Stereo-Kabel verwenden kann, aber das ist nicht zu empfehlen, weil die digitalen highspeed Signale erhebliche Störungen verursachen können.
Ich habe ein 5 Meter langes, dünnes und flexibles 110 Ohm DMX Kabel mit TRS Steckern versehen und das funktioniert super. Allerdings fehlt mir die Ausrüstung zu messen, ob das so konfektionierte Kabel störend emittiert; sollte es aber nach der Theorie eigentlich nicht, und weder im Studio noch Proberaum noch Bühne gab es irgendwelche Probleme. Fazit: das Kabel ist ok und tut seinen Dienst, wenn die "Konsistenz" nicht stört.
