my drumhead had split a lttle where a porthole had been cut, this will I'm sure prevent it splitting any further!

1) They look great.
2) Great quality material as well.
3) Can take the brushing of kick in mic, going in and out gig after gig.

But, with both of the rings that I used, I had a big issue pushing into place the back ring which holds the front one in place. It doesn't hold and keeps falling off. Both front and back rings come with double-sided tape on the edges and it's because of the good quality of the tape that the front one holds.

needs better adhesive

I think this one was faulty as the rear locking ring would not adhere....the adhesive did not work on this occasion. I have used these many time before and never had any problem. Just lucky I guess!!!!
