With the MiniFreak, Arturia has enhanced its Freak range with an outstanding synthesizer that serves as a huge update to the already very popular MicroFreak. As an algorithmic synthesizer, the MiniFreak masterfully combines the functional range of two MicroFreaks in one device while at the same time providing some additional features, such as two six-voice oscillators with 22 different synthesis modes, two redesigned LFOs, and a mini keybed with aftertouch. The six-voice polyphonic analogue filter and the new digital effects section with three freely selectable effect slots round off the overall package, delivering unconventional and distinctive sounds while providing every track with an individual touch, all of which makes this a must-have for every sound artist keen to experiment!

Unique oscillators
The centrepiece of the Arturia MiniFreak are its two digital oscillators with a six-voice polyphony each and a total of 22 different oscillator modes, from Virtual Analog and FM through to additive modes and chord and speech synthesis. Three of the synthesis functions are based on very popular oscillators made by the modular synth manufacturer Noise Engineering. However, an impressive sound spectrum is ensured not only by the oscillator's diversity but also by its modulation capabilities, which open up a whole new sonic world. After all, modulation is one the MiniFreak's top priorities: With an even more extensive matrix compared to its counterpart the MicroFreak, users can freely connect modulation sources and targets, enabling any imaginable sound result - from simple leads through to percussive hits and abstract soundscapes.

About Arturia
