Das Modul verleitet dazu, Ideen zu bekommen, denn fehlende Module können nun sehr simpel auch in einem Only-HW System durch VCV-Module (über 600 Module sind schon verfügbar, vieles davon wirklich gut wie z.B. Plateau von Valley) ersetzt werden und mit echten Buttons gesteuert werden. Wie geil ist das denn? Noch stößt man immer wieder auf Ecken und Kanten in der Software, aber 4ms ist ständig am fixen und hat ein Ohr an der Community, sehr gut!
Das MetaModule ist gut verarbeitet, der Screen etwas klein (ich hatte eigentlich mit einer Screengröße wie bei den 1010Music Touches gerechnet) und die SW-Einbindung in VCV selbst jetzt schon der Knaller. Bei Patchstorage finden sich auch schon die ersten Patches mit MetaModule... und Omri Cohen hat schon einige gute Videos zum Start mit dem Modul gemacht.
Ich denke da kommt noch einiges an weiteren tollen Möglichkeiten dazu... gerade auch durch die angekündigten Expander zum MetaModule (WiFi, Buttons, Knobs, In & Outs, ...).

The module tempts you to get ideas, because missing modules can now be very easily replaced in a hardware-only system with VCV modules (over 600 modules are already available, many of them really good, like Plateau by Valley, for example) and controlled with real buttons. How cool is that? You still come across rough edges in the software, but 4ms is constantly on the fix and has an ear to the community, very good! The MetaModule is well made, the screen is a bit small (I was actually expecting a screen size like the 1010Music Touches) and the software integration in VCV itself is already a blast. The first patches with MetaModule can already be found at Patchstorage... and Omri Cohen has already made some good videos to get you started with the module. I think there will be a lot more great options to come... especially with the announced expanders for the MetaModule (WiFi, buttons, knobs, in & outs, ...).

Aunque ya existían otros módulos eurorack en los que podías elegir entre distintos algoritmos y funciones como el Expert Sleepers Disting ex y otros en los que podías utilizar una combinación de varios como el Zoia Euroburo el gran salto que realiza 4MS con el metamodule es impresionante al usar Modulos de software diseñados para VCV RACK Y poder utilizarlos como hardware. O bien de forma individual o bien con un Patch interno, realizable en el propio módulo o en la plataforma VCV.
De este modo, en el caso de necesitar un módulo que no exista, ya no se tendría la necesidad que diseñarlo en hardware, podría ser diseñado en software para VCV y utilizado físicamente con el Metamodule. Una fantasía hecha realidad
