Pretty much the only choice for AES input and output via USB
As the headline indicates, the puc2 is pretty much the only choice for AES input and output via USB in a recording scenario. Once configured it works flawlessly and provides high quality sound. AES is the best method to get digital sound from components like high end DACs that often don't have USB built in. The Yellowtec is the only one I found that does a quality solution to provide AES signals via USB.

Great for Ropieee but only max 96kHz
I use it to convert USB singnal from RospberryPi to Genelec speakers. Works great with Roon and RopieeeXL. Unfortunately 192/24 doesnt work neither with Linux (with new firmware) nor with OSX. Probably the device is broken

Works as it should
I abit of time not reading the manual and trying to get the device to accept anything but 48khz on Linux, but the cool guys at Yellowtec actually has a firmware specially for Linux, and they kindly wrote it in the manual too! I applied this firmware with no problem, and now I get the full specs. Thumbs up!
