Suggested by my daughter's teacher as a first "decent" flute after some practice. It's an excellent plastic flute, and, despite the material, the sound is rather good (and possibly better and more stable than that of entry-level wood flute).

Pleasantly surprising quality
Moderne Hippie 07.08.2024
Despite being plastic, it does not feel cheap. The finish is a fine matte, pleasant to the touch. The fitment of the segments is excellent and it comes pre-lubed. The storing bag is made from a sturdy fabric and gives an impression of durability.

The sound is warm and the point of overblowing is predictable making it more forgiving. The sound stays uniform from ambient temperature to being warmed up. Very easy to pick up casually every day, because you can feel it's durable and meant to be used. A lot. And that's exactly what you'd want from a musical instrument.

This is a perfect recorder at an unbeatable price, for both beginners and advanced players. It's a real 'use anywhere' instrument.

Hm
one of the best plastic recorders

A great recorder, and the wood-effect looks very nice. I personally prefer the sound of the Aulos Haka recorder, but the Yamaha is a close second place.
