Everything I need as a beginner
I started to learn to play and I wanted a 61 key keyboard that had MIDI over USB so I could connect it to my iPad to use with apps like SimpyPiano, Flowkey, etc. All the reviews online pointed to this one and it has not disappointed.
Since it also provides an audio interface, I can hear both the keyboard voices and the piano learning app through the headphones or the keyboard speakers, which is a HUGE plus.
I have not fully explored all the features it has, but I found a mild annoyance and that's why I have handling a 4 star: Depending on the voice I select, the MIDI notes are moved one octave down, i.e. C3 becomes C2. While this can be solved by transposing notes to -12 in the settings, it is still a bit annoying.

Excellent for starters
Very intuitive handling and it's a proper build keyboard in this price range.
I am a beginning player and what I like most about this keyboard is that even though it has a ton of functions, you don't get lost in them and that makes playing more fun.

Wanted Yamaha mostly because of the famous piano sound. And it doesn't disappoint at all. I love the keyboard. Plying it is a pure pleasure.

Another masterpiece by Yamaha
This is a mostly-entry level synthesizer and it works really well. The display is pretty bright as others have mentioned, although I'm happy with the level. The speakers and volume level on this are incredible. The thing I like the least is that the first note is C2 instead of C1 (because of 61 keys I guess). But the sounds loaded on it for most standard-issue sounds (piano, strings, bass) are really convincing. As it's my first synthesizer, I've found it harder to move around and handle (weighs 9 kgs I think). But overall, props to Yamaha for another great instrument. I'm really happy with my purchase (the newer model of this is the E473 which costs 150 euros more right now.)

Good quality at that price
It has a nice piano sound.
The keys feel good for your fingers.
The display could be larger, difficult to see when the vision deteriorates over the years.
A good choice for beginners

Really like the sounds and learning features. I am a begginer on keyboard playing and it fullfills my needs for now. The kids love it too.
