Many children start playing the guitar between the ages of eight and ten. And it was precisely this group that Yamaha was considering when designing the CGS103. With its smaller neck and body dimensions, this instrument lies exactly between a ½ and a full-size guitar and offers perfect comfort when playing, therefore promoting pleasant and productive learning.
Thanks to its spruce top and its bottom and sides made of nato wood - which is similar to mahogany and also often used for significantly more expensive models - the sound of the guitar is balanced and dynamic. The ideal complement to this is embodied by the one-piece, high-quality rosewood fretboard and a solid rosewood bridge.
